Carbon4 Finance - Sales and Marketing

Carbon4 Finance is a provider of climate and biodiversity data solutions for the financial sector.
We offer a comprehensive set of data covering physical and transition risks, as well as biodiversity footprint. These methodologies enable the financial sector to measure the carbon and biodiversity footprints of their portfolios, assess alignment with a 2°C scenario and measure impacts linked to climate change and biodiversity loss.



As part of Groupe Carbone 4, which grew out of the first consultancy firm specializing in energy transition and adaptation to climate change, Carbon4 Finance provides financial institutions with the data they need to assess these new business risks, comply with regulatory declarations (TCFD, art.173) and build the "low-carbon" investment strategies investors want.

With over 25 analysts to date, Carbon4 Finance is a fintech provider of climate and biodiversity data, and has major ambitions for its business in France and internationally.

In order to develop its business with institutional clients (insurers, asset managers, banks, pension funds, etc.), as well as to promote a market and regulatory context that gives greater weight to climate analysis of portfolios, Carbon4 Finance is looking for a sales representative.

Responsibilities :

Reporting to the Head of Business Development, he or she will have the following responsibilities :

-Responding to calls for tender

-Commercial canvassing

-Sales support for operations

-Drafting service contracts accordingly

-Monitor sales and competition

-Updating sales presentations

-Participate in the active promotion of Carbon 4 Finance's activities on social networks


Profile required :

With a university, business school or engineering degree, the candidate will have :

-Experience (min. 3 years) on a permanent contract in a bank or asset manager.

-Good knowledge of the extra-financial data market and the financial world.

The qualities sought are as follows :

-Excellent empathy, good interpersonal skills and good listening skills.

-Rigor, proactivity and autonomy.

-A very good level of fluent professional English and French is required, both written and spoken.

-Proficiency in CRM software (Hubspot is a plus).

-The ability to work as part of a team and human qualities will be decisive in fulfilling this mission.

Work schedule and remuneration :

Full-time position on permanent contract.

Telecommuting possible.

Gross annual salary : depending on experience and qualifications. Remuneration includes fixed portions and a profit-sharing scheme linked to collective performance.

Start date : as soon as possible, but we can wait for the best profile
