The Carbone 4 Group was founded more than 19 years ago by two climate and economic experts, Jean-Marc Jancovici and Alain Grandjean - joined in 2016 by Laurent Morel.
Its name refers to France’s goal of reducing its GHG emissions by a “factor of 4” by 2050 compared to 1990 levels.
OUR VISION
Climate change and the growing scarcity of resources are major factors disrupting societies. This context gives rise to collective responsibilities and constraints, and also serves as a potential catalyst for change.
Future scenarios vary considerably depending on the paths we take in the coming years.
The companies that will survive and thrive in the future are those that, starting today, integrate energy and climate issues into the core of their business models, make informed trade-offs between economic and physical indicators, and commit the resources and expertise needed to meet these challenges.
